John Dewhurst


John Dewhurst brings 28 years of retail leasing and tenant representation to Hard Corner,LLC.  After 11 years at the Dial Companies where he became National Director of Leasing and oversaw all leasing of Dial REIT properties across 10 states he moved to the private sector.  He served as director of development with Cormac Company over the next 10 years developing in excess of six million square feet of retail in the upper Midwest.

His instinct for demographics, traffic and customer patterns have helped him build a tenant representation portfolio of retailers including Gap, Bed Bath & Beyond, Main Event, ULTA, Michaels, Fresh Thyme, Best Buy, Floor & Décor, Mills Fleet Farm, TruFit Athletic Club, Barnes & Noble, Container Store, West Elm, TMobile, Total Wine & More, Kirklands, Pet Supplies Plus, Hal Smith Restaurant Group, Thirsty Lion, Giordanos and Coppers Hawk.  John graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nebraska, holds real estate licenses in multiple states and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Paul’s local knowledge, established relationships, and influence within the retail community help him identify and act on the essential factors that will most efficiently support and promote client’s goals.

For 25 years, Paul owned & operated three Golf Headquarters retail stores located in Omaha & Lincoln, NE. Paul began his real estate career in Omaha, NE with The Real Estate Brokerage Company in 2007. In 2008, he joined the Cormac Company, a full service development & brokerage company based in Omaha, NE focused on premium retail power center projects across the Midwest.

Paul joined Lockwood Development, a full service real estate company in in 2011 expanding his portfolio of clients & territories covered. In 2015, Paul became Broker of record for Nebraska office of RED Legacy, LLC which became 1Legacy Brokerage, LLC. Legacy is a full service real estate company with emphasis on outdoor lifestyle shopping centers.

Paul & his partner, John Dewhurst founded Hard Corner, LLC in 2017 providing a full spectrum of  real estate services with Brokers licenses in NE, IA, SD, ND, KS, MO & MN.
